James has been with Zurixx for a little over a year. He is one of our Student Relations Specialists, assisting with any and all questions and concerns. Sometimes it’s pretty… sometimes it’s not. He just moved into a new home, so that occupies lots of his time. He enjoys personal development, spending time with his partner and their fur babies and of course, long walks on the beach!
How did you hear about Zurixx?
I worked with a couple of our current employees at a previous company. They harassed me for a few years to come work here. They would always tell me how amazing Zurixx is. I have been in The Hospitality Business for several years and was looking for something to occupy my time during the day. I came in for an interview and next thing I knew I was part of the team!
How was the transition from your old job to Zurixx?
The transition was actually really demanding during my first year here. I continued at my other job in the evenings, where I was working 60 plus hours per week. I also have my own Itworks business on the side, I was exhausted to say the least. I have since quit the restaurant, and I love all of the free time I have now. Although, I haven’t quite figured out what to do with myself yet.
What is your favorite part about working at Zurixx?
My favorite part about working for Zurixx is feeling appreciated for what I contribute to the company. We are so valued here and it’s really a good feeling. I love to smile at people, just to see if they smile back. Why don’t people smile more! J
What is your favorite part about Zurixx as a company?
It’s like a big family! I love all of the perks that keep us all connected.
What does a typical day look like for you?
LOL! My days are filled with lots of joy! Being on The Resolutions Team is different each day. I typically deal with difficult customers, sometimes it takes a while to bring them back down to reality. It’s a challenging position, but that’s what I love about it. Whether it be a co-worker or a client, every day is a new day to make a difference in someone’s life!
